4 Mini Workshops & Market Garden Tour

In support of sustainable backyards 2017, we’re happy to give you a tour of our Abundant Backyard market gardens, share what we know about compost teas, peach tree pruning, movement awareness for years of painless gardening, and organic poly house growing. This is a permaculture education centre so we’ll also do a short intro to permaculture water strategies.  Your presenters will be Gisella Warmenhoven – landscaper and Feldenkrais practitioner; Silvio Maffra – Abundant Backyard market gardener; and Catherine Dunton-McLeod, Plenty Permaculture tutor.  Come anytime between 9:45 and 1. We’re going to roll from one workshop to the next and take a lunch break about 12.  There are no restaurants nearby so maybe bring a bag lunch.  We’ll go ahead even it it’s raining, but bring sturdy shoes.  No need to RSVP, but if you have questions, you can reach Catherine at 027 240 1305.
